In Vladimir in the Puskin Park close to the Assumtion Cathedral there is a monument dedicated to the Prince Vladimir.

Vladimir the Great was Prince of Novogorod and Grand Prince of Kiev. He is on his horse with a banner with a christ’s image. He is followed by Saint Theodor who assisted him to baptise Rus.

There is an observation desk with a nice view of the city and the surrounding

From this place it’s possible to see the west part of the city with some churches. The small settlement of Zaklyazmensky to the east can be seen also. It’s separated from Vladimir with the Klyazma river
