One of the main attraction to see in in Saint Petersburg during the summer is the opening of the bridges. Some of the bridges can be raised and are lifted everyday in summer.
Even it can be seen as an attraction, with music, with night boat tour on the river just after the opening, the bridges are raised to let big boat passing through the Neva river from and out of the Baltic sea. The bridges are opened between 1am and 2am. some bridges open and close 2 times durnig the night.
Some music is plaed around the Palace bridge during the opening.
